Community History Day, Greeneville, TN, 9-5 pm, Sat. Oct. 12, East Tennessee PBS, Black in Appalachia and the George Clem Multicultural Alliance invite you and your family to share documents, photos, film, and recollections of Greeneville’s legendary African-American community that will be reserved in perpetuity for generations to come.
Any and all materials are welcome. Oral histories will be recorded and your treasured photographs will be duplicated and immediately returned to you. Whatever you want to explore is welcomed. Come with your family and community recollections of your Appalachian community story.
