An event to bring together thousands of poor and low-income people and allies on Monday Sept. 14 at 7pm EST, and 4pm PT.
This massive online event will feature the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Forward Justice, the 43 Poor People’s Campaign State Coordinating Committees chairs, directly impacted people, artists, and special guests. You won’t want to miss it!
Tools and teaching information for voter engagement, registration, and protections will be shared, as well as upcoming strategies and activities for this election season. Vote this fall like our lives depend on it – because they do!
A recently released report, the PPC Voter Brief, shows how just a small uptick in the number of poor and low-income voters would change the political calculus of this nation.
The PPC “1000:1000 Campaign” will be introduced. The initiative encourages 1,000 faith and community leaders to get 1,000 people to the polls. Also, the voices of poor and low-income people, allies, artists, activists, and special guests will be heard during the “National Call for Moral Revival” you shouldn’t miss.
RSVP: here; form a watch party of at least five, to keep democracy alive! Find at least five people to join you for a watch party on September 14th at 7 pm. est.
