The 2nd annual City of Knoxville’s Diversity Business Expo is scheduled for March 5th, 8 am to noon, at Overcoming Believer’s Church, 120 S. Bell Street, east of downtown Knoxville.
This free event provides a unique opportunity for minority-owned, women-owned, disabled, veteran-owned, and small businesses to interact with local government employees who make small purchases (purchases not requiring bids) for their departments.
Participating departments include:
- Facility Services
- Health Department
- Information Technology
- Parks & Recreation
- Public Works, and many others.
Attending business representatives will also be able to network with local government purchasing officers and business resource agencies. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards and information about your business to share.
