There is a “Seat at the Table” reserved just for you at the upcoming forums and casual meet and greet events that have been scheduled before the August 22nd Primary election when your next City Mayor and 4 City Council seats will be filled.
The candidates are making themselves available to you – for your questions, concerns, and criticisms. They don’t care what you look like or how you express yourself. They want to hear from you and be given an opportunity to earn your vote.
You are their constituents. It will be their job to work for you! It’s up to you to support your choice and expect results when your candidate is elected.
The candidates are aware of the diversity of occupants in the City of Knoxville – all of whom they are charged to represent to make a better Knoxville for all.
It’s up to you to choose the candidate that will best represent your concerns and prepare a better way for your neighborhood. Not the opinion of your friend, cousin, grandma or pastor.
At least 3 public events have occurred. If you were not there, it’s not too late for you to take your seat at the table when the candidates will be at a venue near you.
Be informed, ask questions or just listen. The citizens in attendance will have some of the same concerns as you. Hence, you get answers without asking, made aware of concerns of neighboring communities. A joint effort could result in a mutual resolve.
Please attend, your presence is expected, respected and appreciated. Then you will be equipped to “VOTE YOUR CHOICE” of who YOU want to represent you in government for the next 4 years. Your Vote – Your Choice.
