PENNY4ARTS PROGRAM for school-aged children, including home-schooled and private-schooled students, in Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Pickett, Roane, Scott, Sevier, and Union counties, an opportunity to attend local arts and culture events/activities of 28 organizations for only one penny (or FREE) admission during the 2018/2019 academic school year. Up to three children can attend for free when accompanied by one paying adult. Proof of residency (driver’s license) may be required.
Up to 4 students ages 16-18 can participate with one of them paying regular adult admission for free admission for the remaining 3; proof of residency may be required.
Scheduled events include Clarence Brown Theatre, Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, McClung Museum of Natural History & Culture, Tennessee Valley Fair, Knoxville Guitar Society concerts, Zoo Knoxville, Oak Ridge Civic Music Assc., and many more.
